Hey There
Real Talk. Real Growth. Real Healing with Khoury Daher
Meet Khoury Daher — a therapist often described as insightful, funny, and persistent in ways that move people forward. My goal is simple: help you understand yourself more deeply, challenge what’s no longer serving you, and build a version of yourself that feels grounded and emotionally honest.
My approach is warm, conversational, and human. I’m not here to judge or talk at you. I’m here to help you make sense of your patterns, your relationships, your history, and the ways your past still shapes your present.

Casual. Conversational. Clinically intentional.
I take an integrated approach — psychodynamic work, DBT, ACT, CBT, or whatever tools make the most sense for your specific needs. But you won’t feel like you’re sitting through a lecture.
I talk to you like a real person. I ask questions that help you think deeper. I revisit contradictions that matter. I stay with the things you’re afraid to say out loud. And yes — we will laugh. Not to dismiss the hard things, but because laughter reminds you that healing is human, not clinical.

what makes us different
Who I Work Best With
Black Men Navigating Identity, Expectations & Emotional Expression
I work closely with Black men who want therapy without having to translate themselves. This is a space where you don’t have to perform strength or minimize your emotional reality.
Women Seeking a Grounded Male Perspective
Women often seek me out when they want clarity around dating, emotional patterns, or the confusing behavior of men in their lives. I don’t claim to read minds — but I help you read patterns.
Athletes & Former Athletes Rebuilding Identity
When the game ends, the identity questions begin. I support athletes managing pressure, transitions, grief, and the “Who am I without this?” chapter.
Couples Feeling Stuck, Disconnected, or Misaligned
I help couples bridge emotional gaps, explore recurring conflict cycles, and navigate cultural or faith-based tension. My approach is balanced, fair, and direct — both partners are supported, and both are held accountable.
Professionals Managing Stress, Burnout, and High Expectations
I work well with professionals who are outwardly functioning but internally exhausted. Together, we unpack work stress, identity tied to achievement, and the pressure to always “have it together,” while building healthier ways to cope and reset.
Reflective Clients Ready for Insight and Honest Conversations
I tend to work best with clients who are curious about themselves, open to feedback, and willing to sit with discomfort in service of growth. You don’t need to have all the answers — just a willingness to explore them honestly.
If Clients Described Me in Three Words

Finding the Right Fit:
FAQ About Khoury
Do you give clients homework?
Only when it’s helpful. Sometimes a reflection, journal prompt, or behavioral experiment supports your goals between sessions.
How do you handle uncomfortable or emotionally heavy topics?
Directly and respectfully. I’m not afraid to go deeper, but I always make sure you feel safe and supported while doing so.
Is therapy with you structured or conversational?
Both. The first session is structured; afterward, our sessions flow based on what’s emerging for you emotionally and clinically.
Do you consider cultural or faith-based context in your work?
Absolutely. Your identity, culture, values, and beliefs matter — and they shape how you navigate the world. We name that openly.
Are you suitable for clients brand-new to therapy?
Yes. Many of my clients are new to therapy. I explain the process clearly and move at a comfortable pace.
How will I know if you’re the right therapist for me?
You’ll feel both comfortable and challenged. If you leave sessions feeling understood and more aware of yourself, that’s usually a strong sign of fit.
Why Change Happens Here
Insight + willingness = transformation.
Change doesn’t happen from pressure. It happens from understanding.
I help you see the deeper patterns running your life so you can choose something new — not out of fear, but out of awareness.
Clients appreciate my ability to balance humor, honesty, and persistence. I won’t let you hide from the truth, but I’ll help you face it at a pace that feels human and possible.
