Where compassion meets purpose — and therapists grow together.

At JL Family Services, we believe in empowering clinicians to do meaningful work without compromising balance, growth, or integrity. Our team is made up of passionate professionals who value authentic connection, clinical excellence, and supportive collaboration.

If you’re exploring opportunities with us, here’s everything you need to know about compensation, expectations, and benefits.

Compensation Structure

Our compensation model is designed to reward your level of experience and licensure while supporting flexibility and autonomy.
Clinicians are paid per completed client session, not hourly.

Pay Splits:

  • Master’s Level Clinician: 40%

  • Pre-Licensed Clinician (under supervision): 50%

  • Fully Licensed Clinician: 60%

The $165 rate listed on our website represents our private pay rate.
Insurance reimbursements vary depending on client plans and insurance networks.

Example Pay Breakdown

To give you a general idea of earning potential, here’s a sample breakdown based on part-time caseloads:

Example: Part-Time Clinician

  • 15 sessions per week × 4 weeks = 60 sessions/month

  • Average insurance reimbursement = $100 per session

  • 60 × $100 = $6,000 gross revenue

  • 40% split = $2,400 monthly income before taxes

Actual pay varies depending on client load, cancellations, and insurance rates.

No-Show & Cancellation Policy

Our clinicians have the flexibility to decide whether to charge clients for missed or late-canceled sessions, based on the therapeutic relationship.
Clients are billed the full session rate for late cancellations and no-shows, in line with our financial policy.

Clinical Supervision & Growth

We value your professional development and ensure all clinicians have access to the support they need.

  • Supervision: Provided for pre-licensed clinicians within the practice.

  • Training & Mentorship: Ongoing opportunities for case consultation, CEU support, and professional advancement.

Benefits Eligibility

Full-time clinicians (averaging 25 or more sessions per week) qualify for benefits after maintaining that average.

Benefits include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • JL Family Services covers 50% of your premium

  • Access begins after benefits eligibility is met

Session Documentation & Scheduling

  • Session Notes: Must be completed within 48 hours of each session.

  • Scheduling Requirements: At least one evening and one weekend day of client availability is required.

We believe in balance — and our scheduling structure helps clinicians maintain both professional stability and personal flexibility.
